Our international PhD Program in neuroscience takes place within the research laboratories of the
dynamic and international neuroscience community of the Bordeaux Neurocampus.
We benefit from the diverse set of expertise fostered by the 55 research teams there. From biology of neural cells and synapses to animal and human behavior, as well as cognition and physiology of neural networks, the Bordeaux Neurocampus covers a wide range of research topics. Similarly, the research departments has a wide array of techniques, such as molecular biology, transcriptomics and proteomics, cell culture and vector design, bio-imaging, microscopy, electrophysiology, computational neuroscience...
As both a PhD and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow, you will benefit from:

Modalités
Requirements :
- Hold a Master degree* in a relevant discipline
- Prove an excellent academic and scientific level
- Demonstrate previous experience in a research laboratory
- Have an adequate level of English
- During the past 3 years, have no activity/residency in France or less than 1 year spent in France
*Applicants are expected to hold their Master diploma for the registration step in September/October at the very latest.
Admission to the PhD program involves 3 phases:
1/ Online application for pre-selection with personal and academic details, documents to be provided.
2/ Personal interview of 30 minutes to present your academic background, research experience and motivation for your 3 preferred PhD research projects (among a list of available PhD research projects, published after phase 1).
3/ Registration at the Life and Health Science Doctoral School of the University of Bordeaux, should you be selected.
